Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, our prayer is that our church website will not only touch our Congregation’s hearts but will also be a blessing to others who visit and follow it. I want to say Thank You to our Congregation at Athens for giving me the opportunity to serve as your Pastor. Jennifer, Hunter, Connor, Landon and I are so blessed to be part of such a wonderful church family "YOU FOLKS ARE THE BEST"! If you do not have a church home, we would be honored for you to join us in our Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., Worship Service on Sunday mornings at 11am, and for our Bible study on Wednesday evenings @ 6pm. Everyone is welcome! We have something for every age. Our vision here at Athens is to continue touching the world with The Good News of the Gospel!

God blessed Athens Missionary Baptist Church when Brother David McGregor became our Pastor on May 25, 2008. As our Pastor, God has given David quite a vision for our Church, David’s excitement and dedication to accomplish that vision for our Church is contagious to each of us!
We are a body of Born Again Believers, whose lives have been touched by the POWER of JESUS CHRIST! Our vision at Athens is to help bring those who do not yet know JESUS as their SAVIOR into a personal relationship with HIM. Also to encourage those who do know CHRIST to be all they can be for HIM! We are so excited to be a part of what GOD is doing at Athens. If we could see all GOD has in store for our congregation, we would be amazed! GOD in HIS faithfulness has blessed and added to HIS church. So let us all keep doing our part by telling the grand ole story of GOD’s saving Grace!
